I build things that can't fail.
Most tech blogs stay on the surface. Moving from one buzzword to the next. Safely in the comfort zone.
This isn't one of them.
My background is in the architecture of critical systems where "five nines" isn't a goal, but a prerequisite. From designing C2 (Command and Control) systems to orchestrating billion-transaction payment volumes, I’ve spent 30 years in the trenches.
Why this blog?
In the world of critical systems and infrastructure, there is no room for "black boxes". You have to understand the math, the physics, and the logic from the ground up.
I started Notes from the Deep End to bridge the gap between abstract theory and brutal practice. Whether I'm deconstructing the mathematics of Post-Quantum Cryptography (Crystals-Kyber), implementing Latent Spaces, or analyzing the geopolitics of battlefield technology, my approach is the same:
- Strip the hype
- Understand the fundamentals
- Apply
If you're looking for shallow industry commentary, you're in the wrong place. This blog is for those who want to understand how the invisible machinery of our modern world actually functions, and how to build it better. Welcome to the Deep End.
